It was a great fair prolight '06, Frankfurt!

We were very happy to present our product range, from the simple VJ Software up to the full range 4-Head Media Server at the prolight+sound fair in Frankfurt, Germany this year.

Shaped Screens

Most of the visitors really liked our screen setup. Four panels with a thin fabric (fabric supposed to become airbags ...) got four rear projections on them. The keystone engine completely cut off the overlapping projections and made an almost perfect illusion: organically shaped LCD panels!

Artists

The booth design was done by who-be who designs and creates fabulous stages and beatboxes for events like the sms festival ..
         
Four days continous vjing was performed by house-vj optoyz ..

The 4-Head Media Server

MXWendler presented the 4-head media server. This is a realtime compositing engine capable to combine up to 24 layers of media in to a 4096-pixel result video stream. Up to four outputs (beamer, plasma ..) can be served and freely combined with a very powerful keystoning and edgeblending engine.

Perfect results

As always, the most important part is the result: a fantastic panorama to project on and to play with: ever had such a screen setup to play with? Note there is no projection overlapping or overshooting at all ...
