The robotnik software is easily installed and runs on conventional mobile equipment. It has a modular control concept; hence it possesses a great deal of individuality. The user interface is kept graphically simple to ensure an intuitive usage. The control messages are sent via Bluetooth, WLAN and infrared. For the transmission of signals we use the known communication standard Open Sound Control (OSC), which was designed at the CMAT in Berkeley and is meanwhile widely used. MXWendler offers complete and customisable control through robotnik. Full show control sets (triggering, positioning clips, layering) as well as full output control (video stream from MXWendler media server to robotnik handheld devices) are possible. |
