Kunsthalle Hamburg 2008

Using FXServer keystone technology to adapt perfectly to the buildings strict geometry

Our newest members are urbanscreen.com from Bremen/Germany. Those fabulous guys ( winner of the german Gründerprize 2008 ) use video to stage urban areas and buildings. The last among their amazing projects is the illumination of the Kunsthalle Hamburg built by O.M.Ungers.

Animated keystone correction finally leaving the rigid structure raster

urbanscreens deep understanding of architecture and illumination led to a video show emphasizing O.M.Ungers rectangular style in a vivid and surprising way. In a 5-minute loop urbanscreen catches both the viewer and the structure beginning with a grim rectangular content continously dissolving and reappearing in quadratic patterns finally leaving the rigid raster into free floating forms.
