German National Theater Weimar
ARIADNE AUF NAXOS
Winner of the German Theater Award DER FAUST 2020: The simultaneous playing required by the play is put into practice in this production. Spectators can participate in the play at various locations in the theater.
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
At the DNT Weimar, video artist Bahadir Hamdemir used StageDesigner FX and FXServer to create an impressive stage set with live cameras, live audio-reactive videos and LEDs.
WITTGENSTEINS NEFFE
In the performance "Wittgenstein's Neffe", two concert grand pianos become projection surfaces via video mapping. Particularly helpful here is the Stage Designer 'Bitmap' function, which allows organic surfaces in the projection to be masked by freehand drawing.
GULLIVERS REISEN
A funny, charming and remarkable realization creation of a giant: The play of small and large in Gulliver's Travels was staged by using a live camera to project Gulliver onto a screen, making his projected image gigantic compared to the accompanying real actors on the same stage. On one side is the miniature world: the technical island where Gulliver plays into the live camera. On the other side, we see the "normal" world of the Lilliputians.
Every experience and contact with the giant Gulliver is mediated by the screen next to the Liliputs: They act only with the projection of Gulliver. Remarkable was the difficulty for the actors, on one side the Liliputs acting with a screen and on the other side Gulliver looking only into the live camera.

Projections and live videos in a dynamic and futuristic stage set reflected the complex world of Homo Digitalis on the stage of the Thalia Theater Hamburg.

VÖGEL
The moving LED wall was connected to a smartphone live camera via NDI. Intimate sideshows were created that drew the audience deep into the action.
ANATOMIE EINES SUIZIDS
The StageDesigner was used to map onto the three equally sized screens, set video, image and text cues and triggered via DMX from the lighting console. The spectacle is extended by space and narrative layers through projection.

The FXServer realizes video playouts at different locations in the theater via different output devices. With the help of the playlist, the inserts that serve to interact with the audience are precisely timed according to the course of the show.

KASPAR HÄUSER MEER
Thomas Ladwig staged "Kaspar Häuser Meer" after author Felicia Zeller. The stage set was presented in stacked cubes open to the audience, through which the audience was granted insight into the working and private lives of the protagonists. The video mapping and audio designer Karolin Killig gave the production a special expressiveness. With the help of the StageDesigner video and lighting engine, she used rapidly changing cues to illuminate the perimeters of the individual boxes, which in places transformed into a light performance of their own.

130 Years Hamburger Dom
To mark the 130th anniversary of Hamburg Cathedral, we joined forces with artist Julian Hölscher to transform the former flak tower into a highlight on the fringes of the Winterdom folk festival on Heiligengeistfeld. The aim of the city of Hamburg was to reduce the number of fireworks in the city and we are delighted to have created a real alternative for visitors with our projectors and to celebrate the birthday of Hamburg Cathedral with spectacular projections.
GENIUS LOCI WEIMAR 2023 - BAUHAUS GOES AI
The Genius Loci Festival 2023 was themed "Bauhaus Goes AI" and dealt with highly topical issues of our time such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Deepfake. While the façade projections at the Bauhaus Museum dealt with the aesthetic side of AI and the content was partly generated by AI and processed by the respective artists, other stations of the festival also dealt with the topics critically.
GENIUS LOCI WEIMAR 2021 - RHYTHM AND LINE
The video mapping installation "Rhythm and Line" by the audiovisual artist duo Flightgraf during the Genius Loci Festival 2021 showed the art form of architectural mapping in its purest form - in rhythm and in lines. With this performance they won the Video Mapping Award 2022!

With the production "Zoetropolis" by the multidisciplinary creative studio mammasONica/IT, the massive former Gauforum was staged with a total of 14 projectors from a single FXServer system. Our largest outdoor projection was created.
