The FXServer provides up to 16 outputs in a single system and remains easy to use. Its components are matched to each other, with tested and guaranteed performance. On request we also build the media server on a Mac or Linux basis.

The compact media server for trade fairs, pop-ups and small rooms
Rollable, compact, robust and super quiet: at 19" (2 RU), around 10 kg and with a rollable case, the GastspielServer is suitable for air and rail travel. Thanks to its quiet operation it can sit in the showroom or cabinet right next to the visitors.

Cameras, NDI and streams in real time
Live video is part of trade-fair stages and exhibitions: product demo over an NDI camera, talk over SDI, visitor image in the room. Our media servers play live sources with extremely low latency and mix them with playlist cues, text and effects.
FXServer and GastspielServer
What does an FXServer cost?
The FXServer starts at €14,637 and is configured by outputs, input cards, storage and housing. The configuration can be assembled in the shop; for tenders we prepare a quotation with a bill of quantities.
What does a GastspielServer cost?
The GastspielServer starts at €5,831 including StageDesigner licence and rollable case. Rental for individual productions on request.
How many outputs does the FXServer have?
4 to 16 video outputs from one device. Outputs can be added after commissioning. Hardware EDID management keeps the configuration stable even when a projector is disconnected.
Can the FXServer receive DMX and Art-Net?
Yes. Cues can be triggered from the lighting desk via DMX, Art-Net or MIDI. Via CITP the desk shows the media library with previews. OSC, TCP/UDP and JavaScript are available for custom control.
Does the media server run on Linux or macOS?
Yes, on request we deliver FXServer and GastspielServer on a Linux or Mac basis. StageDesigner runs on all three systems.
Can I rent a server for a trade fair or an event?
Yes. FXServer and GastspielServer are available from our rental park, with individual output configuration and with operator on request. Rental
